 Biographical Sketch

James Guilford is a writer, orator, and educator. He holds a BA from Emory University and an MA from Columbia University.  When he is not tapping away at his keyboard, Guilford enjoys reading, jogging, or exploring cities.  Guilford is a native of Atlanta.  He lives in New York City.   

 

 

 

Publishing

Guilford has been published in several anthologies and literary magazines including Identity Envy, The North American Review, and FlashQuake.  His novel,The Pencil Test, is available now at all major booksellers. Career as an Educator

Guilford has worked as an educator--in instruction, administration, and curriculum development--for nearly a decade.  He has led workshops, written articles, and written curricula on various topics related to education.
